The lodge had a beautiful view of the lake, perfect for enjoying a sunset. The property had everything I needed and the bed linen smelled amazing. Loved the gas bbq and outdoor area!
Oh, the pleasure of finding dark hair on my bedsheets, lots of dust on the floors, and an unwelcome smell in the morning. Such delightful surprises!

The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking scenery across the bridge down by the Manor. the lodge itself is well-equipped and comfortable, providing a private and secluded stay. the hosts have thought of everything, from vegan wine to logs for the fire, making it feel like a true home away from home.
The entrance door sticks and requires some brute force to operate.

The lodge had a lovely view of the lake, perfect for those Instagram-worthy photos. The barbecue facilities were great for a fun evening, but be prepared to bring your own meat.
The microwave didn't come with a personal chef to cook my meals. How disappointing!

We absolutely loved our stay at 8F Lakeside Lodge. The location was breathtaking, with stunning scenery just outside our window. The lodge itself was fantastic, with all the amenities we needed and more. The hosts, Emma and Dale, really go the extra mile to make you feel at home. From the vegan wine to the cozy fire, they've thought of everything. We particularly enjoyed spending time around the gas BBQ and fire pit, having quality family time without devices. The sound of the river nearby added to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. we had a wonderful break and would definitely want to come back in the future.
While there were a couple of maintenance issues, such as a rusty bench and some bathroom antiquation, it didn't put us off from enjoying our stay.
